About Häusermann Automobile
Häusermann Automobile AG was founded in 1932 by Fritz Häusermann and was the Swiss importer of the Volvo brand until 1981; since 1981 the company has operated as a Volvo dealer. At the beginning of 2020, Häusermann additionally took on the dealerships for Zeekr, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, Fiat and Abarth. The family-run business operates three locations in the Zurich region – Zurich (headquarters), Illnau-Effretikon and Wetzikon – and employs around 100 staff. The offering includes new and used car sales, service and repair work, body and paint work, electrical work, air conditioning service, auto check, and tire and wheel change including tire hotel storage. In the business customer segment, Häusermann offers fleet solutions and interim mobility; customers include Elektro-Material AG, Bosshard-Farben AG and Silent Gliss AG. The Dübendorf site will be integrated into the new building in Illnau-Effretikon as of January 2026.
