HAGE Sondermaschinenbau GmbH
Obdach (AT) · Customer systems in Germany and MexicoNew on Amplifa
Special-purpose machine engineering with FSW core competence since 1982
HAGE Sondermaschinenbau GmbH develops and manufactures highly customized special-purpose machines, production systems and automation solutions in Obdach (Styria, Austria) for cases where standard machines are not sufficient. The technological focus is on friction stir welding (FSW): from its own FSW competence center, where processes have been developed to EN-ISO standards for over 15 years, to turnkey series production systems – for example for fuel tanks of the Ariane 6 rocket or pressure-tight battery trays in electromobility. Further competencies include gantry machining centers for workpieces up to over 100 meters, fully interlinked special systems that combine milling, sawing and punching in a single process, as well as XXL profile machining. The family-owned company bundles mechanical design, in-house toolmaking, electrical engineering, software development and assembly under one roof; the digital twin with HAGE CMS and WeldCheck ensures real-time process monitoring. With around 150 employees on 40,000 m² and an export share of approx. 80 %, HAGE supplies international customers including the aerospace, automotive, rail, construction and commercial vehicle industries. In addition, the company offers contract manufacturing of complex components and prototypes on its own high-end systems.
