Hagener Fördertechnik GmbH (Hafoe) was founded in 1980 by Manfred Maschmeier and is today run by the second family generation. The company in Hagen plans, designs and manufactures individual crane systems such as overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, jib cranes and special cranes, including lifting attachments such as tongs, grabs, sheet-lifting tongs, coil/C-hooks, spreader beams, vacuum lifting devices and magnetic lifters for ferromagnetic materials. In addition, the portfolio includes switchgear construction with EPLAN circuit diagram creation, PLC, HMI/SCADA programming and radio remote controls, as well as pump technology from project planning through new installation to overhaul and maintenance of all makes. In steel construction, railings, stair systems, stair towers, maintenance platforms and steel structures for new buildings and renovations are produced. Further services include recurring testing of crane systems, lifting equipment and lifting attachments, acceptance tests, test book service, UVV (accident prevention regulation) inspections, industrial service, electrical engineering, training courses and a 24-hour emergency service. Customers come from industry, mechanical engineering, steel and sheet metal processing, steel trading and scrap processing; reference projects exist, among others, with Speck, Aerzen and AUMUND.
