About HAHN Gasfedern
HAHN Gasfedern GmbH, headquartered in Aichwald near Stuttgart, has been developing and manufacturing gas struts, gas tension springs, lockable gas struts, double-stroke gas struts, oil dampers (oil brakes) and Sliding Door Dampers for precise motion control since 1960. The portfolio is complemented by custom-manufactured electromechanical linear actuators (Industrial POWERISE, IPR40). Products are made from steel as well as stainless steel V2A (AISI 304) and V4A (AISI 316), from single pieces from lot size 1 up to large-scale series, including in-house painting, refilling of gas struts with valve, and assembly. Manufacturing takes place in-house at the main Aichwald site (Waldstraße 34, 35 and 39–43); a second production site in Gastonia, USA (HAHN West) serves North and South America. Typical industries include marine/ship- and yachtbuilding, construction machinery, medical technology, building services, special-purpose vehicle manufacturing, mechanical engineering, the food industry, caravan/trailer and the furniture industry. Since 2016, HAHN Gasfedern has been an expert brand of the Stabilus Group.
