The Company

HAHN GmbH was founded in 1955 and manufactures hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic power units and fastening elements at its Sprockhövel site. The product range includes standard cylinders, special cylinders and customer-specific hydraulic power units for the hydraulics and mechanical engineering sectors. Approximately 1000 m² of production space is available at the company's own plant. The cylinders are manufactured by 25 employees using a partially CNC-controlled machine fleet. All necessary machining operations – with the exception of surface coatings – can be carried out in-house. The value chain includes design, manufacturing and quality control from a single source. The quality management system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1999.

Quality assurance includes the selection of modern tooling processes to ensure tight manufacturing tolerances as well as inspection at every stage of design and manufacturing. The quality management system has been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1999.
