About us
Hahn Mechanik manufactures CNC precision components for optoelectronics and the automotive industry. Production encompasses CNC milling, wire EDM, injection shot blasting for mechanical surface pretreatment, anodizing, laser marking, and the partial ablation of insulating surface layers to create conductive surface areas. Materials machined are mainly aluminium alloys such as EN AW-7075, EN AW-6026 and EN AW-5083 as well as tool and stainless steels such as 1.2379, 1.2842 and 1.4548. Typical parts are housings for optoelectronics as well as force and torque sensors or measuring elements for automotive crash testing made from hardened chrome steel. The company is a sole proprietorship based in Sachsenheim-Hohenhaslach and can look back on a tradition in metalworking founded in 1880 by master blacksmith Wilhelm Kolb, today led by Wolfgang Hahn as owner and managing director.
