HAHN Plastics Canada Ltd., founded in 2016, is the sales company of the HAHN Group, based in Waterloo, Ontario. The HAHN Group, headquartered in Germany, specializes in the mechanical recycling of post-consumer mixed plastics and films, which are processed into the material hanit using its own plant and process technology – around 90,000 tons of plastic waste per year are processed into 65,000 tons of hanit. From this 100 % recycled plastic, a portfolio of over 2,000 finished products is created: construction sheets, beams and square profiles, structural elements such as palisades and L-bricks, technical products such as cable ducts and trench covers, guidance systems, park furniture, ground fixings, fences, as well as products for horse keeping and agriculture. The products are weather-resistant, maintenance-free, splinter-free and fully recyclable. For customer-specific requirements, the HAHN Group develops tailored solutions from concept consulting through to implementation; sales are handled via a specialized trade network. The Canadian company serves customers in industry, municipalities, architecture, landscaping and gardening, as well as gastronomy and leisure.
