About HAHN Plastics
HAHN Plastics Ltd. is the British sales and production company of the HAHN Group, a manufacturer specialised in the mechanical recycling of post-consumer plastics. From the mixed, non-sorted stream of sales packaging (Yellow Bin) – predominantly polypropylene (PP) as well as polyethylene (PE, LDPE, HDPE) – the company's own secondary raw material hanit is produced, from which over 2,000 products are manufactured, such as construction boards, beams, profiles, palisades, floors/decking, fences, guardrails, outdoor furniture, playground furniture and technical products (e.g. cable ducts). Processes include profile extrusion, compression moulding (e.g. water-permeable Hanpave blocks, 330 × 330 × 40 mm) and custom product development. The group recycles around 90,000 t of plastic waste annually and produces 65,000 t of hanit from it; more than 500 employees work at seven sites in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, Spain and the USA. The British seat is located in Manchester (Swinton). Hanit products are recyclable, low-maintenance and since 2005 predominantly awarded the Blue Angel; haNit ULTRA is available as a reinforced material variant.

Quality and Certification
The HAHN Group, as a certified recycling company, is subject to permanent monitoring by supervisory authorities. A 20-year guarantee applies to hanit products; dimensional tolerance is ±1.5%, material testing was carried out, among others, according to AfPS GDS 2014:01.
