Manufacturer of street furniture from Schwerte
Hahne & Lückel is a manufacturer of street furniture based in Schwerte-Geisecke. Founded in 1963 in Hagen-Hohenlimburg as a toolmaking business, the company has been producing street furniture since 1982 and today manufactures well over 300 products in the areas of litter bins, benches, barrier systems, bicycle parking systems, flagpoles and ash columns, with several 1000 combination and coating options. The value chain includes CAD-based design, punching, pressing (including a 2000-kN servo press), CNC-controlled edge bending and swing bending, robot-assisted welding of steel and aluminium, tool and fixture building, in-house powder coating, full-immersion hot-dip galvanizing to DIN ISO EN 1461, and assembly. Precision steel tubes and sheet metal from European manufacturers, aluminium, and PEFC-certified WPC cladding are used. Customers are primarily municipalities and public administration in Germany and other German-speaking countries; according to the company, one in three German cities is a customer. Production is carried out in small and large series, and the company also offers smart litter bins with radar sensors.
