About Halaman
Halaman Printing and Packaging Corp. is a family business founded in 1977 in Istanbul that manufactures paper and board packaging. The product portfolio includes folding cartons, header cards, envelopes and pouches, wrappers and banderoles as well as special packaging. The entire value chain – from graphic design through prepress (CTP), sheetfed offset printing and digital printing to finishing, die-cutting, folding and gluing – takes place in-house. The machine park includes multi-color Heidelberg offset presses with up to 16,500 sheets per hour and, since 2024, the HP Indigo 35K HD Digital Press for short runs and variable data. Customers are primarily apparel, cosmetics and specialty brands; for food and pharmaceutical packaging the company holds BRCGS certification. With direct exports of around 50% of revenue, Halaman serves customers worldwide; for the European market, Halaman Packaging GmbH was founded in Germany in 2018. The new factory begun in Istanbul in 2015 covers 14,000 m² and was designed as a Green Factory with consideration for environmental, occupational and health aspects.

Quality
Quality assurance is based on the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and the ISO 12647-2 printing standard; colors are automatically measured and corrected using the spectrophotometric measurement system Heidelberg Prinect Image Control. Finished packaging and labels are additionally inspected by a highly sensitive camera inspection machine (Focusight) and by experienced inspectors in the quality control department.
