About Halbich Kunststoffe

Halbich Kunststoffe GmbH, based in Kaufbeuren, is a family-owned company now in its third generation, specialising in colouring and extruding thermoplastics in small batches from 5 kg to approx. 8,000 kg per order. Core products are individually coloured granulates and compounds, especially for the injection moulding industry. In addition, the company offers contract reprocessing of almost all thermoplastics into regranulate via a melt process as well as the processing of single-origin PMMA ground material into fine ground material in grain sizes of 0.1–0.2 to 2.0–3.0 mm. Colours are measured in the company's own colour laboratory and matched from individual powder pigments; upon request, Halbich also handles complete material sourcing. Customers come from the automotive, electrical engineering, construction, profile manufacturing, medical technology and household goods industries. Production takes place at Reifträgerweg 51 in Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz, with a quality management system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 2006. The family business dates back to 1935, when it began as a forwarding and trading company.
