About halcö

halcö Alfred Hörtnagl GesmbH & CoKG is a Tyrolean family business founded in 1936, located in Fulpmes in the Stubai Valley, with over 85 years of experience in metalworking. The company manufactures construction and furniture fittings made of wrought iron as well as design fittings made of stainless steel, including door and window handles, bow handles, hooks, house numbers, letter slots and sliding door sets. In addition, the production of special hand tools such as bolt cutters, mat cutters and tie-wire pliers made from Austrian and European special steel is part of the product range. In contract manufacturing and industrial supply, turned and milled parts are produced from individual parts through to series production according to customer specifications – complemented by forging, welding, stamping, sandblasting and CAD design. Furthermore, halcö develops and markets a modular CNC clamping fixture system (clamping bridge system) for multi-side machining in a single setup. Customer industries include, among others, the construction and fittings industry, the furniture, kitchen and furnishings industry as well as the cooker/stove industry. Since 1982 the company has been based on the Fulpmes industrial estate; production is carried out with CNC-controlled machines and automated robotics in cooperation with the competence centre KSHB Stubai.
