About Halsang
Halsängs Stängsel AB (Halsang) is a Swedish manufacturer of gates, turnstiles, fence systems, traffic barriers and mobile solutions. Founded in 1971 by Thorbjörn Övergard, the company initially produced wire mesh and began its own design, manufacturing and distribution of gates in 1987. The product range includes sliding gates, speed folding gates (Valhalla), motorised swing gates (Frigg), turnstiles, automatic and manual barriers as well as fence systems including the High-Security System 358 Prison Mesh; this is complemented by mobile products for construction sites and events as well as a web-based monitoring system for remote monitoring and remote diagnostics. The products are largely made from aluminium and hot-dip galvanised steel and are TÜV-tested in accordance with EN 13241. An in-house team of draughtsmen, technicians and engineers produces custom designs in terms of dimensions, colours and design. The main site with headquarters and production is Falköping (Sweden), and since 2011 additionally a plant near Krakow (Poland); distribution is handled through offices in Germany, Finland/Baltic states and through the Nordic markets. Customers include SKF Gothenburg and the Axevalla racetrack.
