About us
halstrup-walcher GmbH is a medium-sized family-owned company in Kirchzarten near Freiburg with around 200 employees. The company develops and manufactures mechatronic positioning systems and direct drives for automatic format adjustment in machinery as well as pressure measurement technology, in particular differential and absolute pressure transmitters for the lowest pressures in non-aggressive gases. In addition to catalogue products, halstrup-walcher delivers customer-specific solutions and OEM products, including mechanical, electronic and mechatronic engineering as well as software development. Production takes place with a high level of in-house manufacturing depth at the Kirchzarten site (Made in Germany). Fields of application include woodworking machinery, filling systems, packaging machines, cleanroom and containment applications, energy management/HVAC, data centres and mechanical and plant engineering. The offering also includes a DAkkS-accredited calibration laboratory for the measurand pressure. A distribution partner network in 49 countries is supplied; since 2017, a dedicated sales company in Agrate Brianza (Milan) has served the Italian market.
