Hamacher GmbH is a family-owned company based in Mechernich, founded in 1979 by Willi Hamacher as a wholesaler for electrical engineering – initially in the basement rooms of the then Aldi branch on Bahnstraße. Today, the Hamacher Group encompasses the areas of electrical engineering, drive technology, and Electrical Mechanical Engineering (EME), serving over 100 industrial customers. With around 180 employees, the company is one of the largest employers in the city of Mechernich and is active as a training company. The operational area at the main headquarters is 8900 m². Business activity is oriented towards the German-speaking region; communication and contractual terms (GTC according to the Green Supply Conditions of the ZVEI) are available in both German and English.
