About Hamberger Sanitary
Founded in 1866 in Stephanskirchen near Rosenheim, Hamberger Industriewerke GmbH is one of Europe's largest WC seat manufacturers with its HARO Sanitary brand. The family-owned company produces WC seats and lids from thermoset (urea resin with approx. one third cellulose) and thermoplastic (polypropylene) on fully automated injection moulding lines. The complete value chain includes in-house hinge production from corrosion-resistant V2A stainless steel, fully automated SoftClose® damper production as well as painting at the Sewliewo site. Over 350 models and mounting solutions result in around 120,000 combinations for retailers, wholesalers, DIY and OEM. Production plants are located in Rohrdorf (Germany), Sewliewo (Bulgaria), Kunshan (China) and near Cairo (Egypt); the export share is 50 %, with products delivered to over 50 countries.

Quality & Certification
Seamless quality control from incoming raw material inspection to final inspection, with optical component metrology, industrial computed tomography of dampers, FEM calculation, FMEA and load/breakage tests. Products are tested according to DIN 19516 as well as Chinese and ASTM standards.
