Since 1901, Hamburger Tauwerk Fabrik GmbH & Co. KG has manufactured and finished ropes, cords, handrail and barrier ropes, wire ropes and nets. In its own workshop in Hamburg, custom-made products are produced to customer specifications, including eye splices, thimble splices, sewn whippings, hot-cut ends as well as complete assemblies with fittings, end caps and rings. The product range includes ropes made of high-performance fibres such as Dyneema/HMPE, aramid and Vectran, plastic ropes made of polyester, polyamide and polypropylene as well as natural fibres such as hemp, sisal and cotton, supplemented by stainless steel wire ropes for architecture and stable technology. Customers are found in shipping and yachting, agriculture (dung removal systems), construction, stage construction as well as industry, play, sport and gastronomy. The company usually delivers within 2–4 business days directly from its Hamburg factory.
