hameln pharma gmbh is a family-owned, internationally active pharmaceutical group in its fourth generation, headquartered in Hameln. The company specializes in the development, licensing and sterile manufacture of generic injection and infusion preparations; the portfolio comprises more than 65 active ingredients from the fields of analgesics (including opioids), anesthetics, sedatives, antiemetics, antidotes and antibiotics. The value chain extends from API production at the sister company in Slovakia, via ampoule filling and packaging at the Hameln-Afferde plant (approx. 11,000 m² of production space, including a compact ampoule system), to worldwide distribution. Customers include hospitals, pharmacies, ambulatory surgery centers, medical practices and palliative care facilities, particularly in intensive care, emergency, palliative and anesthesiology medicine. In 2024, more than 140 million doses were delivered to customers in over 45, respectively 50, countries.
