About Hamer Soundsystems
Hamer Soundsystems (formerly Steffens & Hamer) has been active since 1971 as a manufacturer and specialised wholesaler in the field of professional sound reinforcement technology. Since 1975, the company has produced its own loudspeakers of the SH series, predominantly 'Made in Germany', with an annual production of well over 25,000 units. The portfolio includes ceiling, wall and surface-mounted, pendant and pressure-chamber loudspeakers, sound projectors, amplifiers of the BW series as well as SAA/ENS control units. Central loudspeaker models have been certified by the VdS in accordance with EN 54-24 since April 2011. The sister company AVK GmbH – Technical Devices and Plant Engineering (founded 1999, DIN 14675 certified since 2013) plans, designs, installs and maintains voice alarm systems in accordance with DIN VDE 0833 and emergency warning systems in accordance with DIN VDE 0828. Together, more than 1,690 projects have been implemented, among others for retail chains, hotels, clinics, schools, museums, railway stations and passenger ships. Head office and production facility are located in Lohmar near Siegburg.

Operations are certified according to ISO 9001:2015; AVK GmbH is certified according to DIN 14675 for planning, design, installation, commissioning, acceptance and maintenance of voice alarm systems. Central loudspeaker models are certified in accordance with EN 54-24 by the VdS.
