About HAMMBREAKER
HAMMBREAKER is a German manufacturer of compact two-shaft low-speed shredders for recycling applications. The machine shreds a wide range of materials: construction waste, concrete including reinforced concrete, railroad sleepers, tar/asphalt, scrap metal, car bodies, white goods, tree roots, waste wood, waste, plastics, biomass as well as soils and stones. The drive is provided by a 220-hp 5-liter diesel engine from Volvo Penta complying with Tier 3 / Stage IIIA emission standards, with hydrostatic drive and power-regulated hydraulic motors; the torque is approx. 160,000 Nm. The two-shaft system with an open shredding unit, double ejection flaps, automatic reverse and a Quick Change System enables short maintenance times. Transport is by hooklift truck or in a 40-foot sea container. The discharge conveyor belt width is 800 mm at a discharge height of 2,500 mm; optional overband magnet for ferrous separation. Delivery is only to countries with Tier 3 / Stage IIIA regulations.
