Handelshof Cottbus GmbH – Partner für Technik is a regional specialist wholesaler for steel and materials, heating and sanitary, construction and tool technology, and electrical engineering in the Cottbus, Finsterwalde and surrounding area. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Cottbus, the company employs over 100 staff and supplies trades, the construction industry and steel-processing industry. In addition to a warehouse range of bar, flat and section steel, pipes, reinforcing steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper, the company offers custom steel processing: sawing, drilling, flame cutting, reinforcing steel bending, bar steel straightening, blasting and priming, welding and hot-dip galvanizing. Through its subsidiary Handelshof Cottbus Stahlverarbeitungs GmbH, a 5100 m² steel hall with a sawing-drilling system as well as a blasting and priming system has been available since 2018. For ring beams, the prefabricated reinforcing steel PfT-Variokorb® is produced. Delivery is made with eight of the company's own trucks, including construction site supply with crane unloading.

Foundation of Baugemeinschaft Finsterwalde GbR and Handelshof Finsterwalde Beteiligungs GmbH & Co KG; construction of the specialist store and bathroom showroom in Finsterwalde-Massen; lease of the Drewitzer Straße site in Cottbus (29.01.1993).
