About Handmade Moonshine
Handmade Moonshine was founded in 2015 in Haan near Düsseldorf and produces seasonal spirits and liqueurs in artisanal production exclusively from regional ingredients. Since its founding, the company has also been producing exclusive whiskey and storing it in high-quality casks from all over the world; the team relies on over 30 years of experience in whiskey production as well as a network of cooperages and cask dealers. Since 2018, the company has been marketing its own casks through a network of brokers and dealers. Since 2021, customers can invest in whiskey casks and have them subsequently stored insured and monitored; the selection, the purchase including a certificate of ownership, the storage, and the later monetization via bottlers, auction houses, and investors are all comprehensively supported. In addition to seminars and tastings, the company offers free start-up and subsidy consulting. Since 2023, there has been a cooperation with the WEBER Original Store by Grillardor Erlebniswelt in Cologne, where a whisky lounge and a cask warehouse are operated on more than 1,400 m². The office and registered seat are located in Haan, District Court Wuppertal, HRB 26738.

Customer casks are stored under optimal storage conditions, fully insured (including against fire, theft, and vandalism), and with regular inspections. Customers receive a certificate of ownership for each cask and can view their casks at any time.
