The Brewery
The Handwerksbrauerei Hennings is located in northern Germany in Leezen on the Mecklenburg Lake District. Brewmaster Tim Hennings brews full-flavoured beers there using a traditional brewing process, inspired by German beer styles as well as by creations of American and European craft beer brewers. Only selected natural ingredients such as malt, hops and yeast are used. The beers are neither filtered nor heated before bottling, in order to preserve all important nutrients and the natural cloudiness. Long fermentation and maturation phases give the beers their natural and fresh taste. Distribution takes place via the on-site brewery shop as well as via keg orders in sizes of 15, 30 and 50 litres to the gastronomy and beverage trade.
