About Hanffaser Geiseltal eG

Hanffaser Geiseltal eG is a registered cooperative in southern Saxony-Anhalt that manufactures sustainable construction and insulation materials from hemp. The industrial hemp is grown by regional farmers; the hemp straw harvest is carried out by experienced agricultural service providers. At the production facility in Mücheln (Geiseltal), high-quality construction and insulation materials as well as other sustainable hemp products are made from it. Through close cooperation with farmers and the use of innovative technology, environmentally friendly building materials are created that promote healthy construction and contribute to a climate-friendly construction transition. The cooperative is part of the INVEST funding programme and is seeking private investors who receive a 15% grant on investments starting from €10,000 and can acquire shares in the cooperative.
