About HANK Wax

HANK Wax GmbH, based in Scheeßel (Lower Saxony), develops and produces wax additives for the paints and coatings industry. The product range includes highly concentrated wax dispersions (TopAdd Liquids) based on synthetic hard waxes, polyethylene and polypropylene waxes, UHMWPE and inorganically reinforced polyethylene, micronised wax powders for powder coatings (TopAdd Powders) and sustainable additives made from natural waxes such as carnauba and rice wax (TopAdd Greenline). The dispersions are supplied in water, methoxypropanol or photoactive monomers (TPGDA) and achieve solids contents of up to 60 percent. In addition to standard products, the company develops customised additives in its own research department for requirements such as scratch resistance, slip, block resistance, matting and PTFE-free formulations. The family business, founded in 2000 by Volkmar Hank, has been run by Thorben M. Hank in the second generation since 2020 and supplies customers throughout Europe and worldwide.
