About the goldsmith
Hanne Beyermann-Grubert is a master goldsmith (FH Schwäbisch Gmünd) and produces handcrafted, individual jewellery in her workshop in Freiburg city centre. The focus is on seamlessly hand-forged wedding rings and fine gold rings, couple and stacking rings, bracelets, bangles, necklaces and chains. Materials used include fine gold (999), gold alloys 900/°°° and 750/°°°, silver and palladium, complemented by fired enamel as well as gemstones and materials such as diamond, brilliant-cut diamond, sapphire, emerald, amber and labradorite; for ring combinations she also works with puddled steel. A characteristic feature is a welding technique for supple necklaces with ball joints. From 1972 to 2013 she ran the goldsmith's shop at the Schwabentor in Freiburg with employees, handed over the shop in 2013 and has since been working in her own workshop on Wilhelmstraße. Pieces are available via an online shop; workshop visits are possible by appointment.
