Hanno Werk GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1895 as Hannoversche Filzfabrik M. Mehlhard and has evolved from felt production to a manufacturer of sealing and insulation systems made from technical soft foams. The company confections polyurethane soft foams and uses self-adhesive technology; today's main focuses are impregnated joint sealing strips as well as insulating, hydrophobic, or conductive synthetic soft foams. Production takes place in Laatzen (Germany); via Hanno (Switzerland) AG in Sissach, the company supplies customers in the construction and industrial sectors, including window and façade construction, mechanical engineering, automotive and railway vehicle construction, medical technology, as well as energy, climate, and ventilation technology.
