About us

Hans Baderschneider Textilvertriebs GmbH, based in Naila-Lippertsgrün (Bavaria), is a specialised fabric wholesaler for the apparel and textile industry with a focus on church textiles. The product range includes vestment fabrics sold by the metre for chasubles, stoles, copes and altar cloths, as well as wool fabrics, blended fabrics and, on request, shirting fabrics in all liturgical colours. Fabrics for the restoration and reconstruction of historical garments are also offered. Around 90 percent of the fabrics come from domestic weaver mills in the region, enabling short transport routes, consistent quality and the support of traditional craft businesses. The company's roots go back more than 100 years to a mechanised weaving mill owned by Hans Baderschneider; since its conversion into a GmbH around the turn of the millennium, the business has focused on fabric distribution. Customers include churches, monasteries, vestment ateliers, workshops for liturgical textiles and vestment embroiderers; deliveries are made throughout Europe.
