Hans Friedrich Kokillenbau GmbH is a specialist company for permanent mold and tool making founded in 1961 and based in Werdohl in the Maerkischer Kreis (North Rhine-Westphalia). Its core competence is the development and production of permanent molds for aluminum casting using the gravity casting, tilt casting and low-pressure casting processes. Since the year 2000, the company has additionally manufactured high-quality die-casting tools, and since 2003 also injection molding tools for thermoplastics and thermosets. Production takes place in-house on modern CNC machining centers, milling and turning machines as well as wire and sink EDM machines and surface grinding machines; Cimatron is used as the CAD/CAM system. The range of services covers design, mold and tool making from a single source. Customers come from the permanent mold casting (aluminum, magnesium, brass), die casting and plastics processing industries.
