About us

Hans Kerth Stahl- und Maschinenbau GmbH is a family business founded in 1945 in Homburg (Saar). On a production area of around 2,500 m², the company manufactures everything from simple sheet metal blanks to complex components and assemblies, from one-off pieces to small series. The range of services includes sheet metal working with laser cutting, oxy-fuel cutting and bending, mechanical machining by sawing, drilling, turning and milling as well as welding technology with the processes manual metal arc welding (111), MIG/MAG (135), TIG (141) and stud welding (783). Sandblasting, glass bead blasting, priming and painting are also available in-house; hot-dip galvanizing, burnishing, powder coating and galvanic treatments are carried out by external companies. Materials processed include DC01+ZE, S235, S355, the stainless steels 1.4301 and 1.4571 as well as aluminium, mostly from stock, plus special materials such as carbon steels, spring steels, fine-grain, wear-resistant and heat-resistant steels as well as plastics and rubber/sealing materials. The company serves industries such as steel construction and mechanical engineering, and supplements its manufacturing with consulting, component optimization and transport with its own truck.
