About Pinselfabrik Maier
Hans P. Maier GmbH Pinselfabrik was founded in 1969 by Hans Peter Maier and Manfred Wießner in Nuremberg and has been manufacturing brushes for the international market for over 50 years. The product range includes cosmetic brushes (make-up, kabuki, foundation, eyeshadow), artist and hobby brushes (watercolor, oil, acrylic, detail brushes), nail design brushes, dental brushes as well as gilder brushes and applicators for gold leaf processing. Products are made from wood and natural hair or synthetic fibers, including vegan brushes. Production ranges from individually made small batches in the company's own manufactory with locations in Nuremberg, Bechhofen and Wilhermsdorf to cost-efficient large-scale production via partners worldwide, accompanied by the company with consistent quality control. In addition to tailor-made private label and OEM solutions, the company offers stock product ranges, its own proprietary brand (Vernissage) in sustainable paper packaging, and importing with quality control. Since 2005 the company has been FSC®-certified, and since 2012 a member of amfori BSCI.
