Special machinery engineering since 1953

Hans von der Heyde (HvdH) develops and produces customised turnkey solutions in special machinery engineering in Hörstel for extrusion peripherals, laser technology and automation. The portfolio includes laser systems for cutting, welding, marking, ablation and perforation – including intricate notching and asymmetric cuts – as well as extrusion technology from material feeding through cut-to-length and marking to peripherals. In assembly technology, the company implements clip fastening, bonding, screwdriving, punching and cut-to-length; integrated testing technology ensures the quality of components and joints. Processing covers plastics, metals and fibre composites. In addition to individual systems, HvdH offers standardised modular systems on a platform basis. In-house competencies include mechanical and electrical design, assembly, PLC and robot programming, application engineering and technical support, complemented by feasibility studies in the in-house application centre and rental options for long-term testing. Customers come from the automotive, household goods, electronics and plastics industries; more than 2,500 systems are installed. HvdH is part of the OKE Group with 1,800 employees at 10 locations.
