About HANSASTEINE
The HANSASTEINE group is an association of medium-sized companies from northern Germany that produce and distribute sand-lime brick and autoclaved aerated concrete. Production takes place at three sites: Hansa Baustoffwerke Parchim GmbH produces sand-lime brick and autoclaved aerated concrete products in Parchim (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), while Nord-KS GmbH & Co. KG manufactures sand-lime brick in Buxtehude and Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Production uses brick presses, mould boxes, conveyor belts and autoclaves for steam curing and hardening of the products. As a system partner in construction, the group offers a service package around its products, including raw material take-back of autoclaved aerated concrete residues, return of transport packaging, and declarations of performance (DoP) under the Construction Products Regulation. The building materials are distributed via HANSA nord Baustoff Vertriebs-GmbH & Co. KG under the HANSASTEINE brand, primarily to the building materials trade as well as to residential and commercial construction in northern Germany.
