Titanium expertise from Bremen since 1989

Hanseatische Waren Handelsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG (HWH) was founded in Bremen in 1989; the roots of the corporate structure date back to the 1950s. The company covers the complete process chain around titanium: from the raw material titanium sponge, through the melting of titanium and cobalt-chromium alloys in its own melting plant for high-temperature alloys, to the production of semi-finished products such as titanium bars, titanium rolled wire, titanium electrodes, titanium billets and titanium casting blocks, as well as forged parts and dental blanks. The offering is complemented by further processing, storage, distribution and recycling of titanium within the EU. Customers come primarily from the automotive, aerospace and medical technology/dental sectors and are supplied nationally and internationally. In the LuFo VII-1 project TiReGo (2026–2028), HWH is developing, together with partners such as Otto Fuchs and Liebherr-Aerospace, a plasma beam cold-wall crucible induction melting technology (SinglePAM) for Ti6Al4V mini-ingots. Production is located at the Ferdinand-Porsche-Straße site in Bremen, with administration at Am Wall.
