About the Center

The HanseMerkur Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an outpatient facility on the campus of the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg. It was opened on July 1, 2010 and combines research, education, and therapy under one roof. In the therapeutic area, the center offers outpatient TCM treatments, including acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
