About HAPTIVE
Haptive GmbH, based in Stuttgart, develops and sells STRIVE, a haptic feedback system for industrial virtual reality applications. The system detects collisions in the VR application and generates a physical counterforce at the point of contact, making virtual components tangible as real boundaries. This allows reachability, range of motion, visibility conditions, ergonomics and assembly processes to be evaluated virtually before physical prototypes are available. The offering includes sales of the system, pilot projects and proof-of-concept studies as well as project-based integration into the customer's existing VR stack, complemented by a customer portal. Implemented applications include, among others, wheel arch inspection, reachability testing of a roof antenna, and head clearance testing during vehicle entry at an automotive manufacturer. Target industries are the automotive industry and virtual product development.
