About HD-Sonderoptiken

HD-Sonderoptiken für die Lasertechnik was founded in 2005 and develops and manufactures custom optics and tools for laser technology. The focus is on powder feeding systems for Laser Material Deposition (LMD) and Extreme High-Speed Laser Material Deposition (EHLA). The product portfolio includes continuous and discrete coaxial powder nozzles (HIGHNO® series), coating optics such as OSCA[R]-IN and OSCA[R]-OUT, powder handling components such as powder splitters, powder changeover switches and cyclone separators, nozzle adjustment units, beam shaping systems and gimbal beam deflectors. In addition, the company offers customized consulting, process development, application support, online training, spare parts, commissioning and technical overhaul. Through close cooperation with the partners Fraunhofer ILT and Digital Additive Production (DAP) at RWTH Aachen, reliable, industry-ready solutions for series production are created, including for laser welding of tailor-welded blanks on automotive sheet metal.
