Harald Kreß Maschinenbau und CNC-Technik GmbH is a family-run contract manufacturer based in Meckesheim that has been producing demanding shafts, pump and machine building components to drawing, sample or technical specification since 1998. The focus is on CNC turning and CNC milling with multi-axis complete machining on turn-mill centres with B-axis, complemented by cylindrical and surface grinding, broaching, sawing, welding, trowalizing as well as surface treatments such as hard chrome plating, Tenifer QPQ, Metcoloy 2 and ceramic coatings. The machining range extends to 2,240 mm shaft length, Ø 500 mm turning diameter or 3 m turning length on the multi-axis centre; shaft repair and CAD support round off the offering. Machined materials include all types of stainless steel, duplex and super duplex (1.4462, 1.4410, 1.4501), steel grades, grey cast iron, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Main customers are renowned pump manufacturers as OEM partners as well as the chemical industry and general mechanical engineering. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; the company also holds TÜV-authorised re-certification (material re-stamping) of metallic materials in accordance with AD 2000 HP0 / RL 2014/68/EU.
