About us
Harbort GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1968 and operates as a supplier for the manufacture of 2D and 3D parts made from soft-elastic foams, cellular elastomers and technical nonwovens. The company processes materials such as melamine resin foams, PUR and PE foams, EPDM, composite foams, technical nonwovens as well as adhesive systems and film laminations. Its range of services includes die-cutting and cutting of self-adhesive and non-self-adhesive parts, embossing with 2D and 3D embossing presses, laminating and film coating, welding of PUR foam tubes for cable sheathing and decoupling of Bowden cables, as well as insulation, vibration damping and assembled components. Harbort produces special parts, including the manufacture of the required special machinery; since 2019, thermal forming on heating presses has extended the product range to include three-dimensional parts. Customers include automotive manufacturers, air conditioning system builders, manufacturers of medical devices, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, switchgear builders and developing engineers. The company, with around 100 employees, produces at its Schneverdingen site in prototype and series production and supplies customers worldwide.
