About us
Harms Schaltanlagen GmbH designs, engineers and installs control cabinets and control systems for industry. The portfolio includes switchgear construction, PLC programming, process control systems and visualization as well as electrical installation for refrigeration systems. The control cabinets are made from sheet steel; a matching PLC program for plant control is developed for every hardware component. The scope of services ranges from cost-conscious engineering through transport, installation and testing to commissioning; maintenance, expansion and retrofit of existing systems are also part of the offering. Core industries are industrial refrigeration with the refrigerants NH3 and CO2, mechanical engineering, conveying technology as well as natural gas, LPG and hydrogen systems. The company was founded in 1991 by Bernd Harms in Edewecht and has been based in Oldenburg since 2012, where the production area has quadrupled since then.
