About Harnischmacher GmbH

Harnischmacher GmbH is a contract manufacturer for brazing technology and heat treatment with experience dating back to 1981. At its core are vacuum brazing, protective gas brazing and induction brazing, with which components are joined into solid, tight and flux-free joints – even with complex geometries, multiple joint points and different material combinations. Materials processed include steel, stainless steel, copper, carbide (hard metal) and ceramics, as well as nickel-based brazing filler metals. In addition, the company offers heat treatments such as recrystallization annealing, normalizing, stress-relief annealing and soft annealing, welding processes (CMT, laser, TIG, resistance), material testing and its own toolmaking. The equipment portfolio includes five vacuum furnaces (up to 2,000 × 900 × 900 mm), five protective gas furnaces, four induction systems, three welding robots, nine welding systems and eleven leak testing stations. Customer industries include tool and mould making, the automotive industry, wear protection, mechanical and plant engineering as well as vacuum and metrology technology.
