About Harscher Prototyping

Harscher Prototyping is a provider of additive manufacturing of industrial plastic components based in Bad Saulgau. Using state-of-the-art equipment and automated processes, the company produces prototypes, series components and spare parts from customer files. Four 3D printing processes are available: Stereolithography (SLA), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Multi Jet Fusion (MJF). The range of processes covers smooth and transparent surfaces, flexible components with 50–85 Shore-A, fiber-reinforced materials, heat-resistant components up to 230 °C as well as materials with UL-94 V0 approval. Lot sizes range from single pieces up to 50,000 pieces per year. Customers can upload 3D models online, select material and process and order directly; in addition, Harscher offers end-to-end consulting on process and material selection as well as a free sample print.

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

Cost-effective process for robust functional parts and fiber-reinforced components.

MJF

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)

Process for robust functional parts, series production and full-color models with very good mechanical properties.

UL-94 V0

Materials with UL-94 V0 approval

Flame-retardant tested plastics for electrical and safety-relevant applications.

Shore-A 50–85

Flexible plastics

Elastic materials for flexible components.
