About HASENA
Hasena AG, headquartered in Biel-Benken (canton of Basel-Landschaft), develops and produces high-quality bedroom furniture, in particular solid wood beds, boxspring beds, upholstered beds as well as slatted frames and companion furniture. The company was founded in 1951 by the three brothers Felix, Paul and Willi Hasenfratz as a carpentry workshop and remains family-owned to this day. The core of the product range is the modular building-block system «swiss bed concept», with which bed frames, feet and headboards can be individually combined; the range includes 69 different fabric, synthetic leather and leather upholstery options as well as 26 solid wood finishes. Production takes place at the Swiss headquarters and, since 2015, at the company's own Woodmax facility in Vietnam, where a portion of the beds and companion furniture is produced under high social and safety standards. Materials include FSC®-certified solid wood, production residual wood, recycled fabrics (made from old clothing and plastic bottles), leather, synthetic leather and vegan microfibre fabrics. Products are sold through an international dealer network, complemented by the Pronto delivery service ex warehouse.

History
