About HASSLACHER Green Tower
HASSLACHER Green Tower GmbH develops dynamically highly load-bearing support structures made of composite materials with a focus on timber, as well as their sales, installation and service. The core product is the type-certified timber hybrid tower for wind turbines – the world's first feasible concept of a commercial, state-of-the-art wind turbine in timber hybrid construction. The structure is a lattice framework with glulam beams made of spruce wood; pine heartwood is used as the outer weather protection layer. The tower concept enables hub heights of over 200 metres, supports turbine capacities of more than 6 megawatts and withstands the dynamic loads of rotors with diameters of over 170 metres. Production of the structural elements takes place in the plants of the HASSLACHER Group; thanks to a high level of prefabrication and exclusively mechanical connections, assembly is fast and virtually weather-independent. Target industries are wind energy and renewable energies.
