Haub + Schöllnhammer Apparatebau GmbH is a manufacturer of safety-relevant chemical process equipment that has been in existence since 1926. Its core business is BZ cyclone separators based on the Prof. Barth system as liquid and solids separators, as well as demisters, condensate drains and special apparatus such as pulsation dampers, filter housings, compressed air tanks and steam distributors. Process engineering design, strength calculations and construction are carried out by in-house engineers, while manufacturing — including welding, sheet metal working and coating — is performed entirely in-house at the Netphen site. The manufacturing range covers pressures from -1 to +665 bar, temperatures from -80 to +900 °C, diameters up to 5000 mm, lengths up to 30000 mm and unit weights up to 15 t. Materials include aluminium, carbon steels, austenitic stainless steels and special alloys such as Hastelloy. The products are used worldwide in compressed air and vacuum technology, power plant and process engineering, chemicals, biogas technology and shipbuilding; more than 170,000 installed BZ cyclone separators are documented.
