About HAUPA
HAUPA GmbH was founded in 1961 by Hans-Udo Paas in Remscheid, the centre of the German tool industry. The company develops, manufactures and distributes hand tools and cable connection technology for the electrical trade and the electrical industry. The product range comprises more than 5,500 catalogue items and a total of over 7,000 items including customised special designs, with a focus on the product areas Cable Solutions, Live Working and Basic Programme. These include crimping pliers and hydraulic pressing and punching tools, cable cutters, Press Connection Systems, an 18-V battery system as well as accessories such as ferrules, cable lugs, cable ties and heat-shrink tubing. As a system supplier to electrical wholesalers, HAUPA serves customers in more than 45 countries through subsidiaries and general importers. The headquarters with a central warehouse of over 3,000 m² is located in Remscheid; further branches exist in Spain, Poland, Lithuania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
