About Hauptsaat GmbH

Hauptsaat GmbH is a seed company based in Linsburg in Lower Saxony. The company multiplies more than 80 varieties of over 10 crops on around 1700 ha of multiplication area, including wheat, barley, rye, triticale, oats, spelt and legumes. In addition to seed grain, seed potatoes have been multiplied, processed and traded for over 100 years. Multiplication is carried out by farmers throughout Lower Saxony and neighbouring regions. Cleaning and bagging facilities are available at the Linsburg site; goods can be delivered sacked, in big bags or in bulk, as well as treated or untreated. The company's own delivery vehicles ensure on-time delivery. Hauptsaat GmbH was founded in 2004 and is the continuation of the Hauptsaatstelle founded in Hildesheim in 1920.
