About HAUTAU

HAUTAU GmbH, based in Helpsen (Lower Saxony), has been developing, manufacturing and distributing hardware and automation solutions for windows and window doors since 1910. The product portfolio comprises sliding and lift-and-slide hardware (including ATRIUM® HS, Move PS), tilt-turn and pivot hardware (PRIMAT, TORNADO) as well as electric drives in 24 V and 230 V, controls, sensors and smart home integration for ventilation and smoke and heat extraction systems. Manufacturing is vertically integrated and includes an in-house electroplating facility with computer-controlled production systems for electroplated zinc coating of steel and zinc die-cast in rack and barrel goods up to 3,800 mm in length. Materials are predominantly steel, zinc die-cast, aluminium and plastic. Customers are manufacturers of windows and window doors in wood, PVC and aluminium, the building hardware trade and the electrical wholesale trade; distribution is international. The company has been continuously certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1995. HAUTAU is part of the MACO Group (Salzburg) and employs more than 300 people in Helpsen.
