Engineering expertise for electric UGVs and battery systems
HAWE Mattro GmbH is a technology-driven engineering company based in Schwaz, Tyrol, specializing in unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) and intelligent battery systems. The company develops and manufactures the fully electric tracked UGV platforms ROVO and Crawler as well as custom crawler applications for autonomous and remotely controlled operations in difficult terrain. In addition, lithium-ion battery packs based on NMC and LFP cells are produced in the company's own battery assembly and tested according to current standards. Development spans from system architecture through detailed engineering to production-ready products; production and development take place under one roof at the Schwaz site. Vehicle assembly offers capacity for up to 500 ROVO platforms per year. Customers are OEMs and system integrators from robotics, off-highway mobility and special vehicle electrification. Since 2019, Mattro has been part of the HAWE Group.
