Hawle is an internationally active manufacturer of valves and system solutions for water and gas supply, headquartered in Vöcklabruck, Austria. The family business, founded in 1948 by Engelbert Hawle, develops, produces and distributes more than 13,000 products with around 1,700 employees, including gate valves, butterfly valves, hydrants, service connection fittings, tapping and locking clamps as well as fittings and pipe connections. Value creation takes place with a high level of in-house manufacturing depth: own foundry, machining, spindle production from duplex stainless steel, own elastomer and plastic products, robot-controlled epoxy powder coating using the epoxy fluidized bed sintering process (EWS) up to DN 600, as well as assembly and testing in the company's own testing facility. Production takes place in Austria (Vöcklabruck, Frankenmarkt) as well as in further European and Turkish plants. The products are used worldwide in drinking water and wastewater networks of municipalities, associations and industry, complemented by digital solutions such as H4.live and the Hawle.live APP as well as maintenance and leak detection services of Hawle Service GmbH.
